Brunswick Northern Breakwater
The Northern Brunswick Breakwater was originally constructed to provide safer navigation for sea craft entering the Brunswick River. Over time however the breakwater has suffered significant degradation due to the influence of storms.
MGN Civil was engaged to undertake remedial works to the breakwater which involved the reshaping, cartage and placement of armour stone up to 8 tonne in size. Access to the breakwater was constrained by the adjacent National Park and local community. MGN worked closely with NSW National Parks and the locals to ensure the project had minimal impact during construction.
