The Bethungra Dam, located near Cootamundra in Southern NSW was identified as a dam structure that did not meet modern design safety criteria.

MGN was engaged to repair and upgrade the structure to ensure that the dam met stringent safety standards. The project required significant rock haulage and placement as well as major concrete extension and repair work.
