The Lumsden Point General Cargo Facility and Logistics Hub (Lumsden Point) is a major initiative for Pilbara Ports and the Western Australian Government to meet the demand for existing and new trade growth through the Pilbara region. The development will provide enabling infrastructure for a number of proposed projects and Government initiatives.

MGN has been engaged to complete the following:

• Widen causeway from 9m to 33m
• Placement various geotextiles
• Placement of 100,000t core and armour rock
• Excavation, cartage and placement of Acid sulphate Soils and treatment
• Supply and installation of stormwater including two Atlan Flowceptors
• Construction of two open channels lined with concrete canvas
• Subgrade preparation
• Supply and placement of subbase/base for new access roads
• Supply and install seal/AC.
